Since 2010, I've been helping individuals and businesses create interiors that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and achievable within budget and timeframe. About Sylvia Fase

I'm Sylvia Fase, interior architect and founder of FASE13. I graduated from the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague in 2000. I now have over 20 years of experience with a wide range of projects—from homes and apartments to offices, retail, and hospitality.

Every design begins with listening carefully: who are you, how do you live and work, and what does the space truly need? My strength lies in translating that input into a clear plan that provides clarity and confidence.

 

 

The meaning of PHASE13

The name FASE13 refers to the different phases of a design process—from research and sketches to execution and styling. The number 13 is my lucky number and symbolizes a fresh start. Together, it represents development, innovation, and a personal approach.

 

 

This is how I work

1. Listen & analyze – wishes, space usage, budget.

2. Design - layout, materials, colours, lighting plan in a concrete proposal.

3. Surprising perspective - one strong idea that makes the space unique.

4. Implementation support (optional) - selection of makers, coordination, delivery.
